7.22.5.3. De ingestelde volgafstand wijzigen
De volgafstand kan worden geselecteerd als ICC op stand-by staat of actief is.
Elke keer dat de afstandsschakelaar (A) wordt ingedrukt, verandert de afstandsinstelling in “ver”, “gemidd.”, “dichtbij” en terug in “ver”, in deze volgorde.
Afstand — geschatte afstand bij 100 km/u (60 MPH)
Lang – 60 m (200 ft)
Gemiddeld – 45 m (150 ft)
Kort – 30 m (90 ft)
De werkelijke afstand tot de voorligger wordt automatisch aangepast op basis van de voertuigsnelheid. Hoe hoger de voertuigsnelheid, hoe groter de volgafstand.
De huidige afstandsinstelling blijft behouden ook al wordt de motor opnieuw gestart.
